Abstract
The preparation of a group of nitroanilines and some related compounds is described, together with two of the biological methods adopted for the assessment of their antifungal activity. Certain of these compounds show high activity against Botrytis cinerea, and one of them, 2,6‐dichloro‐4‐nitroaniline, has been developed as a commercial fungicide (‘Allisan’).Keywords
