Abstract
Polarized lithium niobate single crystals and barium titanate ceramic samples are investigated under 15 ns pulsed laser illumination. Pyroelectric, piezoelectric and anomalous photovoltaic outputs are distinguished. Both prompt and long-lived photovoltaic currents are observed. Keywords
