Abstract
We consider Δ → n + π as a two-level (Δ, n) system emitting the quantum π. The amplification factor for the induced emission of N of them was derived previously assuming the width of Δ to be small and assuming Δ to have no momentum inside the nucleus. In practice these assumptions are invalid. In this paper we derive a formula and obtain numerical results for the amplification factor when these assumptions are removed.
