Abstract
Von Karman equations are used for the analysis of rectangular window glass plates subjected to lateral pressures. A previously reported model that used a finite difference method solved the glass plate problem with simply supported boundary conditions. Here, this model is modified to include conditions where the plate is elastically supported on the boundary. Both linear and nonlinear elastic supports are considered. An efficient iterative procedure is used to solve the nonlinear equations. Keywords
