Abstract
Recent developments in the chemistry of thiocarbonyl carbohydrate derivatives are reviewed in this article. Emphasis has been placed on the interactions between the various functional groups that may coexist in a given molecule as well as the synthetic, biological, and technical applications of this family of compounds. Keywords
