Abstract
The ability of a child with cerebral palsy to generate intraoral breath pressures necessary if his readiness for speech needs to be assessed. Palatal,, respiratory, and articulatory musculatures must be checked. Procedures for evaluating palatal malfunctions in the cerebral palsy problem seem definitive and useful, but the pressure-producing potential of neuromuscularly involved cases is not as yet definitive. Keywords
