Abstract
Crude fluorescein antibody-globulin conjugates may be freed of soluble fluorescein derivatives and other low-molecular weight by-products by filtration through a Sephadex column of G25. Nonspecifically staining conjugate may be removed by filtration of the fluorescein-globulin through a column of N,N-diethlaminoethyl cellulose in pH 6.0 0.02 M phosphate buffer. The method may be used for either purifiying fluores and antibody or for isolating the non-specifically staining components of the crude conjugates. Keywords
