Abstract
This is an account of the findings in 14 patients presenting the prodromal symptoms of infarction. All were treated with heparin and dicumarol, with improvement in symptoms in 6 and only mild infarction in one case. In the other 7, infarction developed, three dying. This study emphasized the importance of recognizing the preliminary symptoms and of treatment even before signs of infarction appear. Keywords
