Abstract
A dye laser with a very narrow linewidth and output energy of about 100 mJ has been developed using injection-locking to a krypton laser of 30 MHz linewidth. Reliable locking was observed for krypton laser powers above a threshold of 20 mW for a range of dye-laser cavity lengths, without the need for longitudinal mode matching. Keywords
