Abstract
The antibiotic activities of 3 compounds that have been described as insecticidal were compared to that of the closely related gossypol. No difference in toxicity was noted. Since gossypol content always was in excess of these substances, they may serve to supplement the activity of gossypol but, in themselves, are only of minor importance. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
