Abstract
To the Editor: The diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy can be a difficult problem, and is even more challenging if the ectopic pregnancy is combined with a normal intrauterine pregnancy and presents as an acute abdomen. Moreover, there may be no vaginal bleeding, so that diagnosis and treatment are delayed, with serious consequences.
