Abstract
Refinement of the x‐ray diffraction data for B9H15 confirms the structure, establishes an x‐ray criterion for crystal purity, and shows that the most difficult impurity to detect, namely, a possible B8 hydride, is not present in amounts greater than about 5% or so. Taking all observations of the x‐ray investigations together, we conclude that the B9H15 single crystals were essentially pure. Keywords
