Abstract
The solution to the problem of a scalar wave scattered from a rough surface is given under the conditions that the normal derivative of the field vanish at the surface and that the surface height be a single-valued function with Gaussian statistics. The solution is in terms of a series with a diagram representation. Partial summation of the series in terms of linear integral equations is briefly discussed. Keywords
