Abstract
A new species of Sporopachydermia Rodrigues de Miranda has been isolated from exudates of red oaks (Quercus rubra). Morphologically, it resembles S. cereana by producing curved cells. Physiologically, it is closer to S. lactativora. It differs from both species by its lower maximum temperature of growth. The epithet quercuum is proposed to indicate its origin. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
