Abstract
AS a further modification1 of the method described by Gardner, Howell and Hirsch,2 a closed plastic system (Fig. 1) has been designed for the primary purpose of concentrating human platelets. At the same time the separation of other blood elements and the aseptic removal of aliquots of whole blood or blood components are facilitated.
