Analysis of theJP=1+ and 0three-pion systems

Abstract
We analyze 3π production results obtained from recent diffractive and charge-exchange experiments. We find that two resonances, a JP=1+(A1) and a JP=0(π) are required by the data. The resonance parameters are MA1=1230±30 MeV, ΓA1=350±60 MeV, and Mπ=1273±50 MeV, Γπ=580±100 MeV. We interpret the above resonances in terms of qq¯ and q2q¯2 quark-model states.
