Abstract
Stump-tailed, Philippine cynomolgus, and rhesus macaques (respectively, Macaca speciosa, M. irus, and M. mulatta) were given the same series of 10-trial object-discrimination problems in the WGTA [apparatus]. Although there were significant differences in rate of learning-set formation by the 3 species, differences in their performance over all problems and in their asymptotic performance were small and not reliable.
