Abstract
Expts. and observations are recorded which are interpreted as supporting the view that the apical region of this animal exerts a dominance over the other parts of its body. Polarity in this animal is also confirmed. The expts. cited and discussed include: swimming-plate movement, feeding reactions, reversing parts of rows by grafting, reversing the mid-body section by grafting, and transplanting the apical organ. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
