Abstract
Specimens of Coregonus cf. artedii and Microgadus tomcod are reported for the first time from calcareous nodules at Green Creek. The occurrence of Osmerus mordax and fully plated Gasterosteus aculeatus in these nodules is confirmed. Analysis of the 10 species of fishes now known of late Wisconsin or early postglacial age from this region suggests the following not necessarily contemporaneous paleoenvironments: oligotrophic lakes, a cool deep marine bay with gravel beaches, and a brackish estuary fed by creeks. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
