Abstract
The synthesis of hexafluorobenzene has been performed by pyrolysis of fluorotribromométhane at 6300. Bromopentafluorobenzene and difluorotetrabromoethane have been identified, besides hexafluorobenzene. During the decomposition of C6F6at 8000, perfluorotoluene, perfluorobiphenyl and hexafluorethane have been obtained. Physical constants are given.
