Abstract
Using a recently developed Lamb-dip spectroscopy technique in fast ion beams, the authors measured with good accuracy the hyperfine-structure splittings in the 6p2P3/2 level of both stable odd isotopes of Ba II. Final results are presented with a discussion of the ultimate accuracy of the technique and a comparison with recent laser-induced quantum-beam measurements. Keywords
