Abstract
A 37-year-old man with apparent familial polycystic renal disease reached a terminal phase of uremia in 1964. Renal transplantation was carried out from the patient''s mother in July of the same year. The recipient enjoys good renal function more than 3 yr. following transplantation. This patient''s polycystic kidneys left in at the time of transplantation were later observed to be shrinking in size. The patient has an erythremia (polycythemia vera) following transplantation more than 3 yr. postoperatively. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
