K-shell autoionization accompanying the beta decays ofTc99,Pm147,Sm151, andTl204

Abstract
The K-shell autoionization probabilities of Tc99, Pm147, Sm151, and Tl204 have been determined to be (3.52 ± 0.20) × 104, (0.936 ± 0.063) × 104, (0.024 ± 0.003) × 104, and (1.22 ± 0.16) × 104, per decay, respectively. The first excited state branching ratios for Pm147 and Sm151 are (6.48 ± 0.56) × 105 and (0.94 ± 0.06) × 102, respectively. The K-shell electron capture to beta decay ratio for Tl204 is (1.22 ± 0.06) × 102. The autoionization probabilities are compared to the theory of Law and Campbell as modified by Isozumi, Shimizu, and Mukoyama.
