Abstract
An interesting, self-limited form of polyarthritis that follows rubella (German measles) has often been described in the foreign literature but seldom mentioned in this country. Apparently, at least in New England,1 this complication is not rare, and a recent study of 10 such cases served to call attention to this fact.Young adults, predominantly females,2 , 3 are most commonly reported to have this complication. Joint pains, with swelling, appear with or shortly after the onset of the rash and last a few days to a week.
