Abstract
A method of generating solutions of Einstein’s field equations for static fluid spheres is presented. This new method has a very clear advantage since it bypasses the direct resolution of the field equations. One of the solutions obtained is then studied in some detail; it verifies an equation of state of the form p≂αρ+βρ1+1/n.Keywords
