Abstract
The extent and localization of in situ carcinoma of the [human] urinary bladder were assessed by employing i.v. hematoporphyrin derivative, an endoscopic detection device and complete pathologic bladder mapping. Hematoporphyrin derivative localizes in dysplastic and neoplastic transitional cell epithelium and these abnormal areas can be detected during a cytoscopic examination with the use of a detection device. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
