Abstract
The least known but arguably the most influential joint liaison committee in health care is that between the General Medical Council (GMC) and the UKCC. A wide variety of interesting topics relating to nursing and medical standards of ethics is normally on the agenda. However, a lack of cooperation between the two bodies means that the committee achieves less than it should. Keywords
