Abstract
Levamisole, an anti-helminthic drug used also as an immunostimulating agent, has been found to be a potent skin sensitizer in experimental animal models. Sensitization is associated with marked T-lymphocyte proliferation in the draining lymph node. It is suggested that immunostimulation through increase in the T-lymphocyte population could be a function of the strong sensitization induced by this compound. Keywords
