Tumoural Calcinosis

Abstract
Fifty new cases of tumoral calcinosis are described and the literature reviewed. The histology and treatment is indicated. These are benign, often multiple tumors which recur if not properly removed surgically, no other treatment being effective. They can occur at all ages and in all races and are usually mis-diagnosed. No biochemical tests or other investigations have so far revealed etiology.
