Abstract
Stonefly numphs attacked and killed steelhead trout (Salmo gairdneri) eggs and alevins in aquaria, and ingested parts of them. The nature of the attacks is described. Similar results were noted in an experiment with cutthroat trout (Salmo clarki). The authors conclude the nymphs could be a serious predator in salmonid spawning areas. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
