Abstract
Since 1935 a number of improvements in the technique of artificial insemination of queen bees have been made at the Southern States Beekeeping Laboratory, at Baton Rouge, La. In 1948 a manual was published (Mackensen & Roberts 1948) describing a method and the results to be expected, and in later papers (Mackensen 1948, 1954) some improvements were described. The purpose of this paper is to report various experiments made during the development of the technique. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
