Abstract
The relative elastic differential scattering cross section for the + He system has been measured for collision energies in the range eV. The experimental results have been analyzed utilizing semiclassical techniques based on a two-state model to obtain information about the intermolecular potentials for the and states of . These results are discussed in terms of existing ab initio calculations for these two states.
