Abstract
The case of a time-limited or brief reactive psychosis in a Thai immigrant was reviewed. Although the patient claimed to have left behind his Thai culture, his previous Buddhist background proved extremely stressful when confronted with a family mortuary ritual. The importance of understanding and working with a patient''s previous cultural and religious beliefs is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
