Abstract
Data on mortalities of Tribolium confusum adults in whole wheat flour containing from 0 to 100% of Pb arsenate, Ca arsenate or Ca arsenite were graphed with wooden models made by glueing 10-inch square boards of white pine alternately with red cedar into 10-inch cubes, and shaping with chisels and gouges. Ca arsenate killed most quickly. Although initial kills with Pb arsenate were lower than those with Ca arsenite, the more resistant insects died sooner than those in Ca arsenite media. With both arsenates there were more rapid kills with moderate than with high concs. of arsenates in flour. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
