Phonon dispersion in graphene
Abstract
Taking into account constraints imposed by the lattice symmetry, the phonon dispersion is calculated for graphene with interactions between first and second nearest neighbors. We show that only five force constants give a very good fitting to elastic constants and Raman frequencies observed in graphite.Keywords
