Abstract
The levels of 8 enzymes were measured in the semen of 15 azoospermic subjects. The values of creatine kinase, and alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase ratio are significantly different between excretory and secretory azoospermics. Aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, .alpha.-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, .gamma.-glutamyl transferase, acid phosphatase, alkaline phosphatase and the .alpha.-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase/lactate dehydrogenase ratio have values which do not differ significantly between the 2 groups of azoospermic men. Keywords
