Abstract
x-ray transition-probability ratios for 16 elements in the range were measured with a high-resolution Si(Li) detector. The vacancies were produced by a heavily filtered bremsstrahlung beam from a commercial x-ray tube. Our results agree qualitatively with the theoretical calculations of Scofield but are consistently about 15% higher.
