Abstract
Growth of chicks was increased by feeding adenosine at 150 or 300 mg/kg with a basal diet of sucrose, isolated soy protein, soybean oil, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. Fish solubles at 3% of the diet gave a greater response than adenosine. Adenosine did not consistently elicit a response in the presence of either fish solubles or dried whey. Keywords
