Polarization of theχc2inpp¯annihilation: Massless QCD versus diquarks

Abstract
The measurement of the diagonal spin-density matrix elements ρMM of the χc2 produced in exclusive pp¯ annihilation, via its radiative decay into Jψγ, can discriminate between different nucleon models. Whereas perturbative massless QCD predicts the χc2 to be entirely in M=±1 states (i.e., only ρ11=ρ110, quark-diquark models of the nucleon allow also M=0 states ρ000. Predictions of a particular model are given.
