Abstract
The gaseous and nitrogenous metabolism before and after the operation of cryptorchidism were studied in some rats while only nitrogenous metabolism was studied in others. The gaseous metabolism definitely increased during the period of greatest resorption of the seminiferous cells of the cryptorchid testes. Deposition of N occurred during the whole period of observation as well as an increased amount of fat. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
