Abstract
In this paper a recently proposed lattice approach to the solution of boundary-layer problems is applied to the one-turning-point WKB problem. The introduction of the lattice converts the singular-differential-equation perturbation problem to a regular perturbation problem. The singular nature of the WKB problem is restored when the lattice spacing is extrapolated to zero. Accurate numerical results are obtained for several cases of interest. Keywords
