Abstract
Chromosome numbers were determined for 39 spp. of 33 genera in 17 families of Dicotyledons from South Africa. New chromosome counts were recorded from the following genera Barosma (Rutaceae), Hoodia and Pachycarpus (Asclepiadaceae), Clematopsis (Ranunculaceae), Pollichia (Caryophyllaceae), Acrodon, Lapidaria, and Oophytum Ficoidaceae), Chrysanthemoides (Compositae), and Nautochilus (Labiatae). New species counts were recorded for 19 spp. in genera in which other spp. had previously been studied. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
