Abstract
The method developed by Zieman for the study of the production of seagrass is critically reviewed; modifications are proposed in order to improve the quality of results. The modifications deal with in situ marking and harvesting techniques, laboratory work and calculation of production, taking into account changes in leaf width and thickness. The method is illustrated by an example concerning a P. oceanica (Linnaeus) Delile bed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
