Abstract
This article outlines the origins, development, and current status of the David B. Kriser Institute for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Dentists. During its first decade of existence this unique facility has provided retraining for more than 30 physically disabled dentists who have subsequently been able to resume dental practice. A case study highlights the Institute's mode of operation. Keywords
