Abstract
After a brief survey of the factors that play a role in the etiopathogenesis of human hepatocellular carcinomas, a detailed description is given of the macroscopic and microscopic features of human liver cancers as well as their association with cirrhosis. The ultrastructural features of liver cancers of various degrees of differentiation are described. The mode of spread, metastasis formation of primary liver cancers, and most frequent causes of death of liver cancer patients are reviewed. Keywords
