Some Comments on the Photolysis of Saturated Hydrocarbons

Abstract
An interpretation of the photolytic decomposition of saturated hydrocarbons is suggested. A set of postulates is proposed which, together with simple molecular orbital theory, gives a rationalization of the experimental facts which is consistent with general valence theory.Keywords
