Abstract
A variable temperature magnetometer was built for use with a field superconducting solenoid in a liquid helium environment. Measurements can be made at temperatures ranging from 1.5 to 300 K. Three modes of operation are possible: integrating fluxmeter, ballistic magnetometer, and variable temperature. The probe permits quick, efficient sample exchange. Keywords
