Abstract
Isomeric states in (913 kev), (661 kev), and (527 kev) have been excited by inelastic scattering of monoenergetic neutrons. The shape of the excitation curves agrees rather well with the prediction of the strong interaction theory, but the theoretical cross sections are, at least in the cases with simple decay schemes, considerably larger than the experimental ones.
