Energy Spectrum of Spontaneous Fission Fragments

The energy spectrum of spontaneous fission fragments of ${\mathrm{Pu}}^{240}$ is compared with the same spectrum for slow-neutron fission of ${\mathrm{Pu}}^{239}$. No significant difference was found, and the interpretation of this result is discussed.
