Abstract
PROTEROMETRA (p.175) (Azygiidae), based on P. macrostoma (Cercaria m. Faust) (p.176), and has been found in the following fish: Pomoxis annularis, Pomoxis sparoides, Ambloplites rupestris, Chaenobryttus gulosus, Lepomis cyanellus, L. humilis, L. pallidus, Micropterus salmoides, and M. dolomieu. Cercaria macrostoma was found in Goniobasis livescens and in Pleurocerca acuta. Living or preserved specimens of Cercaria fusca Pratt, C. melanophora Smith, and the giant yellow cercaria reported by Cahn were found to be identical with Cercaria macrostoma. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
